Inspirations is a spiritual workshop that took place at Singh Sabha Gurdwara in Coventry (UK), where people learn and ask questions about the Sikh Faith. Season 1 consisted of 12 episodes.
Below is a video of a session with Linden Singh, who has recently taken Amrit and become Gianroop Singh. He talks to us about his journey into Sikhi, and gives us a perspective coming from a Western Background.

i am glad that linden singh has now become part of the singh khalsa brotherhood and would like to welcome him.
More needs to be done to promote sikhi in the western world so that other non punjabi sikhs can embrace the loving sikh faith. we need to share the message of the granth with all rather than just keeping it a punjabi thing.
Watching the video its sad that there was not an easy transition into becoming a sikh for linden but what we need to do as sikhs is make sure that if any other westerners wish to learn about sikhi that this facility is available and we need to make sure that if someone wants to become sikh that we help him or her as In the Uk there is alot interest in sikhi shown by white english folk but sikhs are not really assisting them in their journey..... rather they are hindering it by operating a closed door mentality that we do not convert people. Guru Nanak the first master of the sikhs was the biggest missionary ever to have travelled the world on foot to spread the message of God. We are not emulating are gurus in spreading GODS Message.
Linden needs to take a more active role in this and maybe discuss with sikh organisations and highlight areas that we need to improve and he himself should actively help spread the word of god or the message of the Granth to non sikhs in the UK.
