it was a really interesing discusstion we had.

ppl at the talk divided in to 4 grps. there 2 grps of males and 2 grps of females. 1 grp from the females and males had a question on what is female beauty from a society point of view. and other 2 grps had the question on what is the beauty of a gursikh woman.

these topics were discussed and presented to the whole grp. my grp had the topic on wat makes a gursikh woman beautiful. so i had present that myself, cos my partner amritpal singh frm aston uni ran off. may be cus he was shy. lol

the idea of spliting the grps accroding to gender was to see the points of view from each gender on those questions....

......

im not an excellent parcharak. im no parcharak. just sum1 who wants to learn and charan dhoor of the gursikhs

Dhadi jee - Thanks for the information about the talk.

Unfortunately the burden and influence of Maya is great. There are so many temptations to look like this, act like that, hang around with these people etc. Keeping Sikhi Saroop and inner beauty of a Gursikh can be tough. However, with Guru Sahib's Kirpaa of Naam, Baani, Sangat and Ardaas, Guru Sahib saves us from this Bikh Da Sanskaar (poisonous world) and we ferry across.

There is a Saakhi about what makes a Gursikh woman beautiful from the times of Guru Arjan Sahib jee. With Guru's Kirpaa I will post it in the future.

Guru Raakhaa.

whats GURMAT rehit?
is dhadi graduated? Is he now going to marry a dastar vale bibi?

dhadi master, fair enuff u r showin nimarta but saying "im no parcharak" is a silly comment. end of day every sikh is a parcharak and every sikh's words, actions, kamayee and sangat effects others. dont under rate urself.... have confidence to say u r a parcharak and that every sikh is/should be a parcharak. i dont wish to cause offense... sorry if it sounds that way. keep up the gud work!!

jackie...u hav made a very good point. i agree with wat ur saying. amritpal bigged me up on to something im not.

turbanator....i havnt graduated and im not planning on to get married any time soon. so dnt get any ideas. lol

regarding the talk, the female group who had the same question as us came out with similar anwsers and veecharan

nice video. like the paaji in the video says gursikh bibian should wear dastaar - its part of reht and what makes them stand out, look like guru gobind singh maharaaj's daughters and luk like tru princesses.

Check out this nice poem...

nice to see tat gurmat spreading to birmingham. first was coventry, Bradford, London now Birmingham. With Leeds having problems with party halls would be good to see tat gurmat parchaar there now.

gurmat is gurmat. there arent different types of gurmat. theres only one gurmat. so theres no need to put "tat" infront of gurmat. saying tat gurmat implies that there are different types of gurmat.

the sangat in bham ie the west midlands is chardikala. ppl from all area of the uk say this and say how lucky bham is with its sangat
